We were a group of three people. We choose to design alligators out of paper mache so we have to first conceptualize and then continue our project hands on.
After conceptualization we made an armature of alligator with wire and newspaper and fixed it with cello tape then we applied the paper mache paste upon the armature and shaped it. Our model was ready all we have to do was surface ornamentation for which we first created the texture of skin of alligator using fevicol, dressing it with organdy cloth and finishing it.
It took about 4 to 5 days to make it and believe me at start it seemed very untidy but after paint and finishing it came out to be one of the best feeling as it was my first project of material studies and since I belong to science background creativity was not my thing.
