Forests and Fields was shot in and around Dogtown, New England's famous abandoned settlement. The series explores ambiguity and mysteriousness of the land taken over by nature. Expecting to find signs of abandoned domesticity, I was instead welcomed by rocky woods, vast fields and glowing patches of light passing though the branches.
