Youth Pavilion was a project designed and built for the Hungarian Cultural Days of Cluj-Napoca. For three years in a row, the team experimented with the variations of the same structural system and materials for this edifice.
This year, the three-year-old original elements of the pavilion were fashioned into a well-defined quadratic shape and with an impermeable pitched roof, which was masked by a white mesh attic. Compositionally, this attic created a horizontal mass, complementing the vertical elements of the wooden structure. The interior was split in a bigger space for presentations and discussions, and a smaller one for a phone charging station.
