This is the second version on my Plane Chair, this time in Black Walnut and with a shorter back rest for a more relaxed sitting position. I have made a few design revisions on this one with a focus on stronger, cleaner joinery, where the previos version used dowels to connect the back legs to the seat this version has a wedged through-tenon. This creates a much stronger, more elegant joint. It is finished with a beeswax polish.
