Interactive Quiz "A Supermoon Trilogy" 

The process used in determining what questions to ask the learners about the educational video was to use information which contained specific details. The video used is “A Supermoon Trilogy” which discussed Supermoons, blood Moons, blue Moons, and total lunar eclipses. The questions were created based on facts given in the video. The questions were then used in an interactive quiz to assess the knowledge learners retained from the video.

The interactive quiz uses both traditional and authentic types of questions in the assessment. By using questions based off of the detailed facts from the video, the quiz becomes effective in assessing whether the learners understand those facts in a measurable manner. Learners are measured based on how many questions are answered correctly. The quiz also includes feedback to elevate the educational aspect for learners.

The benefits of digital media in learning and assessing allows more learning styles to be incorporated. Adding audio and graphic visualizations to a learning asset gives more to learn from. Permitting more types of learners to learn from the educational video.
