The brief was to produce an image for Fondel to put on their calendar.
After a chat with the managing director he imagined a landscape incorporating images of Titanium and steel scrap appearing to melt and form mountains in the distance of Ferro Titanium (which is used in the manufacturing of special steels). Perfect brief!
I too many photos of the scrap  and the finished product, and used some photos he had taken himself. 
I aimed to make it look as believable as possible, and i think i achieved the right result!
