International Architectural Competition:
Site Theatre

In a broader sense surfing can be understood as an interplay between a human being and a natural phenomenon mediated through the object i.e. surfing board. Proposed architectural artifact aims to act in a similar manner- shaping the interaction between visitors and the competition site. Continuous sail makes a soft yet sharp cut through the landscape, emphasizing the main entrance and guiding visitors through the scenery. Orderly geometry of the building cuts through the diagonal vector of the rocks and introduces a new dynamics to the site. The sectional rise of the building provides a tool for exploration of the site just like a well chosen frame does for a painting.
