Task: Make an extension of the body using an alternate material
This project aimed to address the uncomfortable feeling I get when I am touched. Using white rubber gloves, I glued them onto a stiffened fabric form which made them appear as if they were climbing up my body. During the final critique, however, my classmates found that they were more inclined to touch me as I was wearing it--almost calling them out for the action due to the irony.
