BRIEF - Provide a creative design solution for the relaunch of the famous Jeffrey Archer ‘Kane and Abel’ trilogy.
SOLUTION - For this brief, I had chosen to fixate on Typography and Colour.
Each storyline is characterised by its journey, rather than the events, thus I used the simple visual of footprints.
Each cover design has a strong concept behind the placement, design and colour of the footprints.
The footprints on the dust jacket were to be laser cut and show the colour of the hardbound book beneath, allowing the dust jacket to be printed in black and white, reducing production cost.
