One of my goals for 2017 was to learn about softgoods.

As a Burning Man costume, I created a custom floor-length faux fur coat.  I started with concept sketching, drafted my own patterns, sourced materials, and sewed the entire coat from scratch. Total time estimate: 40 hrs.

I also created a set of rugged, water-resistant roll-out adventure bags and gear pouches.  The large bags double as dropcloths to protect rope and other sensitive gear from dirt and debris, while the pouches are specifically sized for other pieces of gear.  Total time estimate: 30 hrs.
