DETROIT TRAVEL SITE / WEB DESIGN
In this project we developed technical and formal skills including HTML5, CSS3, and basic principles of designing for multiple screen environments (responsive design). Front-end development aspects of web design were covered, alongside visual problem-solving and user-centered design processes.
We worked with UX and human factors, we created Visual Audits & Analysis, Sitemaps, Content Audits, Low & High Fidelity Wireframes and Design Comps. We also created prototypes in Invision, Personas, Mood Boards, Style Tiles and a Design Presentation. We were asked to create a travel website and I chose the city of Detroit. The emphasis is on community working toward Detroits reinvention.
