Tell me a story: 'IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT'.

For this illustration brief I needed to create an illustration in any media or style that represented one of the phrases that I was given. I decided to work with the phrase 'It was love at first sight' as I felt I could play around with the meaning and not just create something stereotypical. I wanted to design something that had humour in it but still representing the phrase in an effective way. Here I have designed a piece that shows a knife and fork falling in love. I thought this idea was fun and unpredictable yet still highlighting the theme well. Rather than just showing two humans falling in love I decided to use objects that you would not think could have this interaction and design a piece that brings laughter to the viewer.
