I designed these shelves based on a customers brief.

I studied photography and spent my time in the library while at college reading every book and magazine on the subject, I then spent 12 years taking pictures in clubs for dance music magazine. This is how I learned that I had a natural talent for composition.

This allows me to take a set of random squares of different sizes and place them randomly in a totally balanced layout.

I really really love doing this, I really find it satisfying. It is a bit like having a set of weighing scales in your brain, you can see when you have equilibrium in a picture.

These squares looks simple but take alot of time and care to make perfect, filling every hole and gap to make them look seamless as they where grown from out of the wall.
