Dammam Metropolitan is the regional capital of the Eastern Province and the Kingdom’s center for Petroleum Industries. It contains the area’s most beautiful parks and high quality beaches. The judicial and administrative bodies of the province and several gov departments are located in the city. it is the largest city in the Eastern Province and third largest in Saudi Arabia, after Riyadh and Jeddah. It’s an import- ant commercial hub and port. Al-Dammām is strikingly modern, with sprawling suburbs, most of the city has been built since the 1940s.
