My work represents the process of trying to recall a song that I forgot from my old memory.  I keep on writing the song over and over again based on how each time I remember it.  The white space and sanded paper represent the parts of the song or words that I can't recall at all.  I used a different color to represent each trial I made to remember the lyrics of the song where I start with faded/light shade of blue and yellow, then I use darker shades of blue, red, white, and yellow.  

The project is a representation of the frustration one feels as they try to recall something from memory, which in this case is the lyrics of a song about nationality.
