Decorative items have already made their entry into our living spaces. We always look for special artefacts and hand made items reflecting our aesthetic sense and creative bend of time.
The Arco lamp is one of those classic designs where form and function meet and live happily ever after. Designed in 1962, it is so practical as to seem almost obvious — how else would you turn a floor lamp into an overhead light? — but the artists' interest in ready-mades and functionalism makes this design complex in its simplicity.
I, along with a collogue, designed this artefact inspired from the classic table lamp. It's made using several different materials like- Ghana teak wood, Onea and MS square rod.
