A blackboard that behaves like a big sheet of paper, it's easy to carry around, perfect for tutoring lessons and team working. It gives the opportunity to save tons of paper while studying, brainstorming, sketching.

In order to create a real impact, the first thing to investigate is what people desire. 

To do so, I have observed physical and social context and the interactions that take place in different learning environments.

The most interesting points discovered during the observation were:

- excessive waste of paper during group activities and during tutoring lessons, where there is no blackboard available;

- need of an object that facilitates cooperation and communication between students in a group;

- the need of said object to be carried easily from one point to another in the classroom; - - the need for different configurations to draft, exercise, cooperate and present a work.

Materials have been chosen in order to pursue the characteristics of lightness, simplicity, and reusability.

Goals of the shape research are simplicity, possibility to assume different configurations and foldability.

Three main layouts of the product define its use, which can be described with the examples of 4 different activities.
