TURNING POINT is a broad and diverse environmental movement that focuses on educating the population about the damaging effects of global animal agriculture on the environment in the hopes of reducing our meat consumption.

This movement works to inspire a turning point in the population to help build a healthy and sustainable environment.

To achieve this, the movement is broken into 3 main steps (design outcomes)
Learn( Infographic series)
Take Action (Book)
See the Results (App)

TURNING POINT is a friendly, encouraging and helpful brand. The logo is minimal, universal and strives to revert from a stereotypical style of environmental or vegetarian/vegan campaigns, as to appeal to a target market of meat-eaters.

The colours communicate the fun, friendly and inspiring tone of the brand. They are fresh, contemporary and reflect plant based food.

The TURNING POINT website is the touch point for the entire movement. The website is the first step in the movement as this is where you find all the information about animal agriculture and its link to global warming, pollution and deforestation, through a series of interactive infographics.

The website also provides the cues to the next steps of the movement and information about upcoming TURNING POINT events.
The infographic series outline the effects animal agriculture is having on the environment currently and the devastating future for the planet if our food consumption alone, does not change.

The icons were created in Adobe Illustrator and the designs created in Adobe Indesign.

CLEAN PLATE is an informative guide to plant nutrition and the second step of the movement. The book covers topics regarding the health benefits of adopting a plant based diet. It contains chapters discussing where to source protein and calcium and also a chapter with recipe ideas.

All imagery in the book was styled and photographed by myself, and edited using Adobe Photoshop. The imagery, illustrations, created in Adobe Illustrator, were all collated in Adobe Indesign.

The final outcome is an Application that acts as a food diary for users to ensure they are meeting their daily nutritional requirements and maintaining a balanced diet .The App also features a live dashboard. This monitors the users water, grain and energy consumption by their eating habits.

The design was laid out on Adobe Indesign and visualised on Adobe photoshop.
