The following section contains works of self-indulgence so egregious and unspeakable as to defy description. Well, that’s not entirely true as every one of them is in fact accompanied by a summary account of their development and intended meaning—the method behind their madness, if you will.
Speaking of psychology, some of the images in this section appear to be coupled so as to
engender the perception of latent connections between them. In some cases, the correlations are quite obvious, such as when their visual content references the same subject matter. In others, the pairing is more subtle, rooted in philosophical congruities and/or wordplay.

This was not an intentional outcome at first, but one that became increasingly ubiquitous as the collection was assembled. As a result, each twinned illustration accords its counterpart a richer significance and mystique by way of literal and implied associations.
