For this Silkscreen Collection I was inspired by these two types of fungi. I explored them down to the microscopical level and found small dents and cavities within them that really fascinated me. What intrigued me the most about them were their colors and three dimensionality. I captured their sense of depth by overlying the different motifs of different colors and opacities, in addition to using the discharge dye technique. The color choice for this project was chosen based on their natural colors.
