Beginning with an idea of micro architecture for objects. I looked at how inanimate things inhabit space while being still, utilized, or moved.
Using sheet metal was an innate decision because of the facility of finding structure from simply bending the material. It becomes rigid as you tell it where to go.
By introducing a hole, it allowed for each sheet form to be used both on a horizontal surface and on a wall.
Through only using the finger brake, slip-roll, and drill press, the manufacturing process of each form became inherently simple.
The product resulting from this process became a sort-of trilogy of small sheet metal structures that allow one to place and order existing objects within both vertical and horizontal surface area.
