DESIGN PROBLEM: Study how different materials manipulate light
DESIGN APPROACH: Mike and I went to an exhibition at the John Waldron Arts Center where we saw examples of light being manipulated by material. We recorded our observations for future reference.
DESIGN SOLUTION: Using a chosen architect as our inspiration, we each created a sculpture that manipulated light in one way or another. I used transparency sheet for my sculpture and used hot glue on the edges to hold it together. This was a representation of how my architect allows as much natural light in as possible.
