I always believe that if you do things well, you eventually will get appreciated and able to earn a living. Though the advantage of  social media, you will easily get a touch with everyone. I thought Van Gogh didn't have a platform to share his works but it's not. He was famous and got appreciated in Paris just like Monet but different people got different fate. Everything costs but no collectors were willing to pay for him, so we lost a star.

The feelings is more deep if you have watched the "Doctor Who". One episode was meeting Van Gogh, back to his century, brought him to his exhibition.

There's a line in the movie I don't sure the exact wordings, "The fate would knock down the giant. Thank him for teaching us a lesson by his life.
