Smart TV Remote App
Design Goal is to design a Remote Control application that the users can download on their smart phones and use in place of a physical remote control to interact with their Television / set-top-box. Achieve a simple yet comprehensive mobile solution for the above objective. I’m choosing android ICS environment as the target device providing a simple yet comprehensive solution with the following must haves & good to haves, considering myself as the end user validating requirements to design objectives parallel all the way through.
Must haves: Global power button, Global mute button, Channel rocker, Volume rocker, Reverse channel, Return button, Channel info button, Menu / Settings button
Good to have: Favourites channel, inbuilt number pad, Live info of current channel & program, Touch pad, Dvd / Media play controls
