I took apart an old school gaf camcorder and did a series of studies from multiple aspects. I used Illustrator to create an instruction on how to operate this camcorder. I drew out it's components and its exploded view. And I made an enlarged foam model (4 times bigger) with an orthographic drawing. It was very interesting to study how the camcorder is put together and how it operates.
