Boma is an Interior Design studio in the CBD of Cape Town. The reception desk design has a sleek stone countertop with a timber base and shell. The wall is cladded in timer panels with branding and a TV used for marketing display. There is a seating area with armchairs and coffee tables, as well as a small coffee bar for both clients and staff.
The working drawings package that has been drawn up for the reception area includes the following plans: an overall floor layout plan of the reception area + a plan, front, back and side elevations of the receptions desk’s joinery, and 2 detailed drawings of 2 different joinery details. These drawings would be used when manufacturing the custom designed desk.
