Project: LIME (Liquid Metal Interface for non-rigid interaction)
I assisted Professor Haipeng Mi and his team on their research on Liquid Metal Interface at Tsinghua University. This research was published in the UIST 2016 as a full paper.
A helium lithium liquid alloy can transform under the stimulation of external electric field. Utilizing this mechanism, a liquid actuator has been developed to actuate the change of physical properties of the interface. My role was to investigate different applications of the actuated liquid interface, one of which was an ‘augmented-to-do-list’ (with the help of permeability change).
