The event is held annually during the annual AfricaCom Conference and Exhibition held at the CTICC in Cape Town, South Africa.
This years event was a collaboration in triplicate. Combining the skills of Formative, Something-Different and the HOTT3D team an empty venue was turned into a venue that housed a formal awards evening as well as a pre-event cocktail function as well as the all important afterparty.
Using sheer draping and hundreds of hanging lightbulbs a subtle and sophisticated after party environment was created for 400 guests making use of the stunning views across table bay and the V&A Waterfront. A custom design stage set, individually decorated tables all added class and combined seamlessly to the culmination of a massively successful event.
A perfect summer evening allowed for the pre-dinner cocktails to spill onto the balcony. A great, and typically, Capetonian way to start off proceedings.
