55 Eggs

55 Eggs | A RISD Illustration assignment
A 3 day in-class assignment I developed for the Rhode Island School of Design's Introduction to Illustration Wintersession course, in which students of all majors and grade years—Freshmen to Graduate students—must represent 55 eggs at 5 inches by 5 inches in the widest variety of artistic voices and materials. This is a derivation of my colleague Fred Lynch's 88 Objects assignment.
The work below was created by students in the course from 2013–17, among which Ali Bartlett, Shuyao Bian, Amanda Booth, Emily Chen, Harim Choi, Lucille Crelli, Carol Demick, David Huang, Tiffany Hui, Bryant Ju, K.Mee Kim, Yujin Kim, Sarah Klotzer, Jiaxuan Li, Grace (Kyung Won) Moon, Lan Lan Padungvichean, Utē Petit, Timothy Wang, Yihan Wang and many, many more…
