About My Work
Porirua Elim Youth is a young adult ministry that often hosts specialised occasional events that require attention in digital promotion through the use of social media such as Instagram and Facebook. In assisting the organisation, I established a range of social media advertisements for the platform of Instagram. The visual designs that are established to represent the themes of these events captures an essence that is both abstract and modern, and this is a strategy that I have pursued in order to visualise an expression that will attract younger audiences. I present within this presentation of imagery two of the featured advertisements that I have developed for the youth ministry.
A promo for Elim youth’s special topic called “The Talk About Relationships“. I am given a direction to focus on illustration, and to have black as a background color. I am given an inspiration as to how I should develop the illustration.
A promo for Elim Youth’s event titled “Unite“. For this project, I have consulted with my client to discuss the direction in which the event advert must head into. He mentioned his interest for the title to have a neon glow, and to have black background. I am provided with all the resources and inspiration that I need to get me started.
