ELEMENT EARTH VENUS
The work is inspired by the elements of which there is four, Earth, Water, Air and Fire, ascending in density. The Earth as a symbol represents the physical and natural world. The triangle is a typical glyph for depicting the elements in ancient literature. This is the reason why this basic form has been chosen for this sculptural wall hanging as well as the others in the series.

Here we see copper infused into this artwork to give it a shimmer. Copper as a metal relates to the goddess Venus. She represents the mother goddess as much as the Earth does too.The viewer can appreciate the geometric crystalline form as a precious stone or the geography of a terrain. There are scintillating pockets of metal that resonate beautifully with the oxide greens and subtle blues, typically Venusian colours. These pockets also express process of formation and exposer from erosion, expressing forces of nature in an abstracted form.

Sculpture best expresses the median for this particular idea this wall piece is a totem and a magical artefact. The subject matter is driven by an interest into magic mysticism. This ancient concept is represent anew in the genre of minimalism and abstraction imbedding into contemporary culture.
