“Stuck” is a personal piece exploring the anxiety of stagnation in personal journeys. The subject’s positioning within the hollow water represents the incubatory space between the present and projected self. As the signature to my work, the tropical and surreal themes of this piece play homage to magical realist literary and artistic movements in Latin America.
