This composition was a creation of vernacular type from photos taken on North Loop Blvd in Austin, Texas. This specific poster was designed based on words found at the North Loop Food Store and Gas Station.

The background of this poster was created by merging cut outs from a steel fence next to the store. The G in the word "gas" was enlarged to create a focal point leading to the rest of the word "gas" and then the surrounding words. The words "north" that surround the background of this image were distorted and all have different opacities to create a centralized image.
This image has a cool color scheme due to the photos being taken at night which displays the way the letters were lit up in the florescent gas station lighting. Balance was created in this image by maintaining a color scheme and arranging the photo information in a triangular shape within the G.
