The October/November timeframe is historically slow for membership sales. A fall membership campaign was launched to encourage people to join before a price increase in January. The campaign targeted two segments of our membership base: active, older adults and millennial males through targeted imagery and copy. My role in the integrated marketing campaign included copywriting, creating a landing page, developing a digital marketing strategy, working with media outlets for ad placements, and creating Google display ads. The display ads retargeted people who visited our site as well as those who had an affinity to fitness. From October - December, we increased membership sales by 36% compared to the same time period in the previous year.
