Fabric layer have been regarded a potential method for enhancing building performance because of their lightweight, longer spanning, and adaptable nature. However, their performance improvement has hardly been accurately gauged or demonstrated because of problems with quality in each geometrical and physical properties. Then, architects and engineers start to saw the development of these lightweight tensioned membrane as shading devices and their improvement in providing daylight and daylight management. Building with high lighting consumption and long operation hours in particular are trying fabric membrane in their daylighting strategies.
