Feeding Felines

6 inch height (above) and 3 inch height (below)–  can be used by cats of different sizes and/or cats with difficulty bending down.  Adjustable by swinging legs in or out.
Bowls are stackable, dish washable, and also usable by people.  Refined model of bowl (above and below) are 3D printed in gypsum powder.  A testable and food safe model will be shown a few pictures down!

Problem identification: Sammy, a cheeky tabby of 11 years, struggling with reaching his kibble because the bowl is too deep.
Ideation process.  Bowl goals: to prevent food spillage and avoid irritating whiskers.  Table goals: to be adjustable to cater to feline friends of different sizes and to allow paws to sit comfortable underneath.   
Sketch models of bowls and tables in clay, wood, metal, and 3D printed PLA.
SolidWorks model and Keyshot renderings.  Bowls could be glass, ceramic, or food safe plastic.
Sammy testing food safe ceramic model (below). This project is ongoing– future iterations are needed!
