Auditions Poster for BU on Broadway
This is a poster I created for Boston University On Broadway: A musical theater group for non-theater majors at BU. We wanted to have some sort of large print poster to advertise our upcoming auditions and generate some traffic to the website. I serve as the Secretary of the club, meaning that I manage all social media accounts, make promotional items, and oversee the website.
I went through drafts of this poster that featured a white background, no confetti, and black text. I then realized that was intimidating as hell and may scare away potential members. As I was thinking of ways to make it more friendly and fun, I jokingly thought to make it pink and give it sprinkles; pink and colorful sprinkles were a sign of fun. To my surprise, I thought it looked really good!
