This stapler redesign was part of a project to take the inside components of an existing object and redesign the casing. The inside is modeled to exact measurements and the covering is designed to fit to it. My design is based on a shark and uses the stapler teeth as the shark's jaw.
To gain familiarity with the stapler I went through an exploration of it's initial form and function.
