Japanese Kimono and Irish mythical creature 'Banshee' has inspired Nouvelle Spring/ Summer 2018. Nouvelle Spring/Summer 2018 consists of Kimono structures and Banshee flowy imbalanced silhouette. White colour represents the pureness of kimono while the black colour represents the darkness of banshee. Moreover, grey colour represents the conservative of kimono while the green colour represents the renewal and freshness of banshee. The fabric manipulation technique 'Pleat' is used to maximise the fullness while ruffle used to increase the wave and flow of this collection. Cotton fabric is used to represents the comfy conservative culture of the kimono while the chiffon fabric is used to enhance the exposure of sexuality in banshee. Lastly, the suede fabric is used to balance out both cotton fabric and chiffon fabric.
