Fun With San Serif and Serif Fonts
Sans Serif and Serif glyphs
In this project I was working with the Neue Haas Grotesk Display Pro 75 Bold (on the left) and the Stempel Garamond LT STD Bold fonts to create glyphs.  As you can see for the Neue Haas glyph I used more of a target style glyph in order to create a strong focal point.  I used an "e" as the background of the target and arranged all the other characters within in it and the "1" centered to draw the eye immediately to that point.

With the Stempel Garamond glyph I did more of a chaotic method with the "A" and the "4" aligned in such a way that they are angled in the same direction. I used a white "X" across the top to create the focal point. I also wanted to draw the eye in a downward motion with the top point crossing over the "j". This glyph leads the eye from where the "X" crosses, travels down and then back up to the left top.
