Packaging, collateral, and instructional illustrations created at OMFGCO for a cannabis C02 extraction company called OCO. Their brand is weird science; stark, stripped down and technical with a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. 

By far the biggest challenge of cannabis packaging is creating beautiful and functional designs within the limitations posed by strict labeling requirements in Oregon and Washington.

With minimum point sizes, long disclaimers, and tedious label information, solving the problem of arranging all required elements onto tiny pieces of packaging begins to feel like an art form.

With constant updates and changes to the rules and guidelines, labeling and packaging workshops at the OLCC have been instrumental in helping me more deeply understand what the OLCC is looking for during the approval process.
