The Deccan College Museum displays selective cultural remains of the human past and is aimed to provide information on Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology to students, teachers as well as general public. The target audience for the project are Historian, National-International Researchers, College History Students and School Students. The aim of this project is to create a brand along with it’s identity. A relevant brand language is to be created to promote the museum and attract more visitors. 



Logo Options

The final logo is designed in a manner that the word archaeology seems like it is preserved in a box by highlighting it in the red box with the proper hierarchy. Also, the three layers are the interpretation of the soil layers in the earth, from where artifacts are being extracted. It's like a puzzle when researchers find the bits and pieces of the artifacts from the soil. The brand color code is #b40001 which is the color of good quality soil from where artifacts are extracted.
