ABSTRACT
Ascent House is a 9m by 9m by 9m (cube house) for a family of four persons. The target of the design is to reach the equation of well and practical spaces in a small footprint. It is consists of ground floor, first floor, second floor and a non-accessable roof with a skylight. Only 3 of 6 facades are open.
CONCEPTUAL STUDIES
The house interior zoning is based on the Japanese Tatami ratio which based on, 1:1 unit and 1:2 units forming different compositions of areas. Mainly, it is used in Japanese architecture for which they have limited floor area.(see FIG.1)

Central organization has been followed around the "Court"which acts as central element which gave opportunity to all spaces to be well ventilated and lit. In addition to, Vertical continuous elements .
