Logo for a flower distributor. He wanted a logo with religious elements (christianity to be precise).

Option 1
Flower. Cross. Nothing else.
I personally liked it because it was simple and minimal. But the client turned it down for the same reasons. He said it is"not so flashy".

These were the other options I had in my mind. But after his reaction to the first logo, I decided not to go this way .

Option 2

But for the client, it was "too direct"
Option 3
While surfing through the internet, I came to know some amazing facts.

Lilium candidum aka Madonna Lily is related to christianity. Medieval paintings and sculptures of the Blessed Virgin Mary often show her holding these flowers.
It symbolizes purity. The white Madonna lily is considered the special flower of the Holy Virgin, and the Christian lore tells that the lily had been yellow until the day the Virgin Mary stooped to pick it.

Another legend tells that the lily sprang from Eve's tears, when expelled from Eden, learned that she was pregnant.

And based on this, I designed the below logo. And the client was pleased. :)
