A commissioned piece to be a wedding gift for a friend-of-a-friend. These are the coordinates of where her friends will be getting married. She chose the wooden piece and gave me all the content. She also wanted to replicate the font of the wedding invitation. I used a brown oil paint and then some black to make it look as though it was burnt into the wood. The "burn marks" on the left and right edges are also painted on there to give it a little more character. I think the board was about 11 x 15 in.
