Positive Negative Logo

This was a logo I came up with in Chemistry class. I was writing down the word "positive" and noticed the t could transform into the + sign! So I tried to make a word mark pair of positive and negative.
*Almost all fonts use optical principles to make it seem as balanced as possible to our eye. One of the tricks they use is making horizontal lines thinner than vertical lines. Another common one is how the circular shapes in the font, extend a bit out below the base-line and above the x-height. These principles can also be applied to logo making, with many famous designers doing this in their work.
