Context Job Interview for Pegada Criativa Date September 2016
/ For the second round of interviews, the company asked me to create a brand for a Guest House in down town Porto - A Mariquinhas. The building was old, as most of its furniture, which was made out of wood and in perfect conditions.
The Guest House deserved a clean image without forgetting it's origins. Therefore the logo reflects the old, due to its typography, and the wood work, thanks to the color and the ornaments. But the vectorial clean lines represent the modern age, the young, the kind of context the guest house lives in.
/ The logo lives in different states. The regular one, sided by the ornaments. The small version, typography only. And the ornamental one.
/ The stationary makes use of the ornaments as an illustration by itself, giving a more exquisite look to the products.
