Designed as a response to the theme “Wit in Design”, the book is a collection of images of anonymous female bodies cropped in provocative angles, with the middle section tightly glued to provide a sense of delayed gratification. The viewer, as a response, must rip open each spread to view the message inside. The act of ripping simulates to that of sexual violation, reminding the viewer of how sexual assault can occur regardless of how an individual dressed or acted. The physical aspect of the book itself also posed as a powerful reminder. The markings resulted from ripping also posed as a powerful visual element, showing that sexual assault can cause permanent physical and mental traumas that will never go away.
