"Sweat Bot" was designed and built for Intro to Computation taught by Chris Novello in Spring 2017. A Raspberry Pi running a Processing sketch acts as the brain of the piece while an Arduino Nano plays the role of muscular system. For every keystroke that is inputted, the Processing sketch sends a signal to the Arduino to activate a relay which in turn opens a solenoid valve. Water flows through the tubing system down to the latex skin and drips through the synthetic pores or nasal base. With every use water splashes straight onto the table, pooling up and at times overflowing off the table surface.
