A series of Mythological Nereid illustrations available in my shop https://society6.com/sirenarts/collection/nereids - These are the daughters of Nereus, the Old Man of the Sea. The nereids are sea nymphs depicted in ancient Greek mythology and referenced by classical authors such as Hesiod, Homer, Apollodorus and Hyginus. I began this project in the fall of 2018 and am working on completing illustrations of the named fifty nereids.
